All of us know about  Father of our nation- Mahatma Gandhi. He was the leader of the Indian Independence movement against British rule. He was born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar-Gujarat. Born and raised in a Hindu merchant caste family and trained in law at London. Gandhi first employed non-violent civil disobidience as an expatriate lawer in South Africa in the resident communities struggle for civil rights. After his return to India in 1915 he set about organishing peasants farmers and more. Assuming leaderdhip of Indian National Congress in 1921 Gandhi led nationwide compaigns for various social causes. Gandhi famously led Indians in challenging the British imposed salt tax with the 400 km Danti Salt March in 1930. And later then calling British  Quit India in 1942. He was imprisoned for many years upon many occasions in India&South Africa.     
All of us know that famous salt march of April-1930 thousands of Indians followed Gandhi from Ahmadabad to Arabian Sea. The march resulted in the arrest of nearly 60000 people including Gandhi himself. In South India salt march led by Rajaji. It is known as Vedaranyam salt march. Many Tamil people participated this event and arrested by British government. Gandhi particularly advocated the manufacture of Kadhar cloth in order to replace imported textile from Britain. This truthful person finally shooted by the bullets of Nathuram Godsey a hindu nationalist on January 30 1948 by firing three bullets in chest. Gandhi died but his honest and  nonviolent are never died. 
Mahatma Gandhi was inspired person for all over the world. All leaders in all countries salute Mahatma because of his sacrifice life. Indian government give respect to Gandhi that his picture printed in Indian currency for his sacrifice and honest and non violent . So all Indians proud of Gandhi and his whole life. Gandhi University and Gandhi Ashram are our respect sources of Gandhi.
