In freedom movements of Indian sub continent the revolutionaries made their history records about struggled movements. One of such revolutionary did his job as sacrificed his life to the nation. Ganesh Ghosh was that revolutionary. He was also from Bengal. He was born on 22nd 1900 in Chittagong of Bangladesh. He studied Bengal Technical Institute in Calcutta. In his early life he was eager to participate revolution movements. He was also a member of Jugantar Party. This Jugantar Party was a number one youngsters group those days. The members of this party mostly involved and sacrificed their life to the nation by hanged or sentenced to jailed for a long time. Ganesh Ghosh was also one of the member of that party. Also he involved the other revolution movement known as Chittagong Armoury. In that Chittagong Armoury one of the freedom fighter Surya Sen led and participated many events of greedom struggle. Ganesh Ghosh also joined and supported his participation there. 


Ganesh Ghosh was also known as Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi and he was participated his freedom movements. For his first involement of stuggle movement that he attacked the British Police Commisioner Charles Tigart and arrested for this event in such place. Charles Augustus Tegart was an Irish born police officer who served in British India. Tegart was a famous British Police Officer and he was strict for his duty for British Government. Ganesh Ghosh attacked this officer with his other revolutionary named Jiban Ghoshal. For this attack the police officer Tegart killed and then the revolutionaries arrested by British Government. He was jailed by the government in Andaman Cellular Jail in the year 1932. After twelve years later he was released from the jail in the year 1946. Then he joined as member of member of Communist Party and involved political events. The Communist Party of India [CPI] is the oldest Communist Party of India and one of the eight national parties in India. 


Communist Party[CPI] founded in India in the year 1925 at Kanpur. This was first political involement of Ganesh Ghosh. After the Independence of India he was as the leader of Communist Party in 1964. In such time he became the Communist Party of Marxist and gave his support to that party. At first he was elected as a Member of West Bengal Legislative Assembly in the year 1952. Then he was elected in the year 1957 and 1962 conveniently. In the year 1967 he was elected in Calcutta South Lokh Sabha Constituency. Also in the year 1971 he was again defeated and elected for Lokh Sabha. So he was a Communist Party member many times and served his activities to the nation. He was died on 16th October 1994. Ganesh Ghosh was also a patriot in history records. Gave our salute to this revolutionary and also pay tribute for this kind person. Jai Hind.
