Freedom fighting movements in Indian history not only the male freedom fighters also the female freedom fighters did their job to their own nation for freedom. In this list one of the young female freedom fighter Kalpana Datta fighting individually and also co operated with other fighters such as Surya Sen of Chittagong Revolutionary group. Chittagong Armory was an important event of struggle movement during the year of 1930.This was an attempt on 18 April 1930 to raid by British Police and  revolutionary group of Indian revolutionaries. This movement led by Surya Sen the most confident and talented person during that time. In that group Kalpana Dutta an young lady with her participate for struggle movement. She was born on 27 July 1913 in Sripur of Chittagong district in Bangladesh. Her father Binod Behari Datta Gupta. She was passed her school life in the year 1929 for Matriculation at Chittagong. Then she joined Bethune College at Calcutta and had graduation in science. During this time she joined Women Student Association named Chatri Sangha a revolution organisation. This organisation had active members such as Bina Das and Pratilata Weddedar. 


The group led by Surya Sen for the struggle movement known as Indian Revolutionary Army Chittagong Branch. For the attack of European Club at Chittagong Kalpana Datta arrested before the plan execution. In this attack another freedom fighter Pratilata Weddedar died for his event of cyanide swallow moment. Kalpa Dutta went under ground and then she got realesed on a bail. In the year 1933 February 17 she was escaped but Surya Sen and Kalpana hiding in the place of Gairala village. This is her involvement of freedom movement in history records. But these persons arrested by police of British Government. Surya Sen hanged by police for his event against the government but Kalpana Dutta arrested and sentenced to transportation for life in the month May. Transportation was the relocation of convidted criminals, or other persons regarded as undesirable to a distant place. During this revolution moments she got a great experience of freedom moments for her friends as Bina Das and PratilataWeddedar. Bina Das did her job for freedom struggle event that she shot the Governor of Bengal during the college event at Convecation Hall of Calcutta University. 


Pratilata Weddedar shot the police officer but she died for swallowed cyanide and sacrifice for her life to the nation. So these female persons gave their life of critical moments in history records. Kalpana Datta for her life after the transportation in 1939. She was jailed 6 years in Andaman Cellular Jail. After the transportation she got released and joined Communist Party. Also she worked as a social worker and did her job of relief worker in 1943 of Bengal province during Second World War.She married Puran Chand Joshi The General Secretary of Cummunist Party of India. After the marriage she had two sons named Chand and Suraj. She was also known as Bindhranwale. It was known for her work of social event. She was died in Calcutta on 8th February 1995. Kalpana Datta was a memorable freedom fighter in history records. We gave respect to her sacrificed moment for Indian freedom movement. Satyamevajayadhe.....

Puli Thevar Puli Thevar was the earlier freedom fighter in our Indian history. He was a tamil palayakkarar who ruled Nerkkattumseval in the Sankarankoil taluk-Tirunelveli. Maruthu Pandiyar

Maruthu Pandiyar Maruthu brothers are earliest freedom fighters against Britishers in our Indian history. Maruthu brothers born in Mukkulam village in Virudhunagar district. Older brother Periya Maruthu born on 15 December 1748 and elder brother Chinna Maruthu born on 1753. The parents of Maruthu brothers are Udhayam Servai and Ponnathal. Maruthu brothers joined as soldiers in the army of Muthuvaduganathar-king of Sivagangai. These two brothers had more skills in army training. After the attack of Ramanathapuram, Arcot Nawab and Britishers were making his attack to Kalayaarkoil. In this attack Muthuvaduganathar killed. Wife of Muthuvaduganathar, Velu Nachiyar and Maruthu Pandiyar escaped from Kalayaarkoil and lived Virupachi near Didigul.  On 1779 Velu Nachiyar and Maruthu brothers defeated Britishers and 1980 Velu Nachiyar became the ruler of Sivagangai. Velu Nachiyar Velu Nachiyar was a queen of Sivaganga estate in South India. She is regarded as the first queen who fought against the British colonial power in India. She was born on 3 January 1730. Her parents Muthathal Nachiyar and Chellamuthu Sethupathy. She took training in handling weapons, in martial arts, horse riding and archery. She had brilliant language skill in English,French,Urdu. At the age of 16 she married Muthuvaduganathur Udaiyathevar. Nachiyar and Muthuvaduganathur Udaiathevar had a daughter named Vellachi. After the British soldiers and son of Nawab of Arcot conquered Sivagangai and killed her husband. She fled with daughter and lived at Virupachi some days.  At Virupachi she had lived under protection of Palayakkarar Kopaala Nayakkar.
