Khudiram Bose


Many youngest persons sacrificed their life for Indian revolution. Khudiram Bose was one of that person who had achieved in Indian history records. He was born in 3 December 1889 in Medinipur District of Bengal. His parents Trailokyanath Bose and Lakshmipriya Devi. He had three sisters. He lost his mother when he was six years old. Also he was lost his father when he was seven years old. He studied Hamilton High School in his early life. He attended the public lectures of Sri Aurobindo and Sister Nivedita. He was an active participant of these public lectures. Khudiram Bose joined Anushilan Samiti. Anushilan Samiti was an Indian Organisation in the first quarter of the 20th century that supported evolutionary violence of British rule in India. Also he had contact with the network of Barindra Kumar Ghosh or Barindra Barindra Ghosh or Barin Ghosh in Indian Revolution. He was also one of the founding members of Jugantar Bengali weekly a revolutionary outfit of Bengal. Barindra Ghosh was a younger brother of Aurobindo. Also as a volunteer in the age of 15. So that he was arrested by British Government at this young age. 


At the age of 16 he became create bombs and also distributed that bombs to revolutionaries to use freedom movements. So government targeted his activities at that age. Khudiram Bose attempt his first attempt to kill Kingsford in the form of book bomb that had constructed by an revolutionary Hemchandra. A Cadbury Cocoa empty tin was filled by a pound of pieric acid and also three detonators in it. This was packed in to a hollowed sections and delivered to Kingsfords house by Paresh Malik an young revolutionary. For this event he went with his furniture, library and also with the book bomb. In this actions Anushilan Samiti persisted their attempts to kill Kingsford. This was happened in March 1908. In April 1908 the revolutionaries Prafulla Chakki also named Prafulla Chandra Chati an revolutionary associated with Jugandar Party Group of revolutionaries who carried out assasination against British Government. Prafulla Chakki and Hemachandra provided the bomb of 6 inches of dynamite, a detonator and also a black powder fuse. In this team Khudiram Bose was a new boy for the bomb action. In this activities Aurobindo Ghosh and Barindra Ghosh roused suspicion. 


Khudiram Bose, Prafulla Chakki and also other revolutionaries such as Haren Charkar, Dinesh Chandra Roi and others hid their identities for over three weeks. On the date of 29 April Prafulla Chakki and Khudiram Bose decided to execute their plans. Kingsford and his wife were playing on the bridge with his daughter in the evening at that important day. Also with there Pringle Kennedy and his wife. Pringle Kennedy was a Barrister. Kingsford took a seat of a carriage of that time and reached the Eastern Gate of Muzzafarpur of the European Club. The revolutionaries keep watched these movements at that time. Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chakki ran towards the carriage and threw the bombs into the carriage. The carriage was shattered and the ladies of that carriage were sustained terrible injuries.Miss Kennady was died this  action also Kennady died on 2nd May. Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chakki escaped that midnight. But police captured these persons about 25 miles away from that place and arrested immediately. Khudiram Bose took full responsibility for the assasination. 

India's youngest freedom fighter Khudiram Bose. He was the 'Boy Revolutionary' who died with a smile on his face who love his nation, who loved India. He was sentenced to death by hanging in 1908 when he was 18 years old of his age. He was hung on 11, August 1908. His age was 18 years eight months and eight days old when he was hung and made his achievement in history records. VANDE MATARAM--JAI HIND
