One of the freedom fighter also writer Subramaniya Siva was from Tamil Nadu. He was born from Vathlakundu near Dindigul of Madurai district. His father Rajam Iyer. He was born on October 4, 1884. He was the eldest son of Rajam Iyer. He was a forced revolutionary of Indian Independence movements. He was married and had a son named Sabaphathi Sharma. His revolution movements were forced such like Bagat Shingh, Raj guru and Sukhdev. He liked violence activities in his freedom movements. He involved freedom movements in the year 1908 and had his involvement of struggled activities. During 1908 and 1922 he had political activities against British Government. He was the follower of Bal Gangadhar Tilak for his activities. For his activities he was jailed many times by Britishers and gave his support to freedom movements. He was also the follower of Barathiyar, V.O.Chidambaram Pillai of Tamil fighters. Bal Ganghadhar Tilak was the guru of Subramaniya Siva. 


Subramaniya Siva was a good writer.He wrote many books. One of his book named 'Jail Life' was an important book of his life. In this book he wrote about jail life and its activities. Also he wrote 'Gnana Banu' was the one of the book that about poetry. In this book contains mostly about collection of poetry. Also he was as one of the devotee of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. His involvements mostly about bajans and devotion items. For this field he wrote the books named 'Ramanuja Vijayam' and 'Madhya Vijayam'. Also he was a writer of Bajans and dramas. Village peoples mostly liked his writings. The dramas and bajans were the forced items of all peoples. So that days his writings as like a tonic for peoples. Not only devotion carrier also struggle movements by Siva was one of the straight forward through the Indian sub continent. So Subramaniya Siva was a health and wealth of the nation. 


For the activities of Subramaniya Siva mostly in Papparappatty village of Pennagara Taluk. In 1921 he was tried to make an Ashram at Papparappatty but it was not as succesfull there. During freedom struggle movements he was not allowed to train by the British Government. So he walked on foot and continued his freedom movements. In the history records Subramaniya Siva was the first political prisoner of Madras Jail. It is his achievement in records. He was died on 23,July 1925. The samadhi of Subramaniya Siva situated in Papparappatty for his memory. Also the bustand named for his name in Vathlakundu. So he was also an achievement freedom fighter such as Tiruppur Kumaran, Vanchinathan of Tamil freedom fighters. We all gave our salute this pure tamil freedom fighter Subramaniya Siva. Vande Mataram.
